Vista da Odaiba

Questo post è una sfida: cercare di scrivere nelle lingue che uso e che continuo a imparare per poter usare meglio. A causa di diverse capacità e differente ispirazione, a seconda della lingua usata, i contenuti dei diversi segmenti cambieranno, non saranno delle pedisseque traduzioni l’uno dell’altro.

Visto che sono tornata da poco dal Giappone, ho deciso di scrivere di uno dei miei luoghi preferiti a Tokyo, Odaiba.

Odaiba è un’isola artificiale, nella baia di Tokyo, facilmente raggiungibile con i mezzi pubblici. Con il treno ‘tradizionale’ della Rinkai Line, la fermata è Tokyo Teleport. Per chi è in visita per la prima volta, vale la pena provare la Yurikamome, un treno completamente automatizzato, e ammirare il panorama, soprattutto se si riesce a conquistare un posto in testa. Naturalmente è possibile arrivare a Odaiba anche camminando, attraversando il Rainbow Bridge, da cui si può godere di una vista incredibile.

Daiba Park

Odaiba fu originariamente costruita per proteggere Edo (la vecchia Tokyo) dai possibili attacchi provenienti dal mare. In Daiba Park è possibile vedere ancora alcuni dei resti delle antiche fortificazioni dell’isola. Entro la fine del periodo Edo (1603-1868), erano stati costruiti 6 daiba — forti — nella baia, tutti su isole artificiali.

A dispetto del suo passato, Odaiba è, ora, un luogo dove le persone vanno per rilassarsi, divertirsi o fare shopping.

Gli appassionati di anime non possono perdersi la statua del Gundam, sul piazzale del centro commerciale DiverCity Tokyo Plaza, e il negozio connesso. Consiglio anche una visita al Noitamina SHOP & Café Theater, il negozio dello studio di animazione della Fuji Television. A tal proposito, il quartier generale della Fuji Television è proprio a Odaiba. Sulla sommità dell’edificio si trova un osservatorio a forma sferica aperto al pubblico (dietro pagamento di biglietto.)

Odaiba è anche sede di musei interessanti e singolari, quali Miraikan, museo delle scienze emergenti e dell’innovazione, e l’Unko museum, il Poop museum… un nome, un programma. Per gli appassionati di giochi, videogiochi e parchi gioco, poi, c’è Joypolis, una città del divertimento (spesso fin troppo affollata, a detta degli utenti.)

Meta consigliata, anche se forse non la metterei tra le priorità di un turista che visita Tokyo per la prima volta.

I am Italian, but in the past I lived in English-speaking countries, where I spoke English on a daily basis. I recently returned from Japan, where I stayed for around two years, trying to learn the language. Over that period of time I did not use English that much, especially in writing. I definitely need to practice, so I thought to create this challenging post in 3 languages.

I am going to write about one of my favourite places in Tokyo, Odaiba. Depending on the language I am using, the contents of the segments of the post are going to change.

Odaiba is a man-made island in the Tokyo Bay. You can reach Odaiba by traditional train (Rinkai Line) or by riding the Yurikamome, a self-driven train that serves several of the main locations on the island. Although it takes a bit of time, if you are in the mood for a walk and want to enjoy incredible scenic views of the city, you can also cross the Rainbow Bridge. Once you cross it, you will find Daiba Park on your right. This is the oldest site on the island. Odaiba was originally built to protect Edo (old Tokyo) from attacks coming from the ocean. Daiba means fort in Japanese. At Daiba Park there are still remains of the old fortifications.

Now Odaiba is mostly a place to go to spend a fun day.

Anime fans can check out the statue of the Gundam Unicorn in front of DiverCity shopping centre and the Noitamina SHOP & Café Theater.

The Fuji Television’s head offices are also located in Odaiba. On the top of the building there is an observatory with a 270 degree view over the waterfront area.

Among other attractions, the National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation, Miraikan, is a great place to take children. It is accessible both in Japanese and English. One of the main exhibits is Geo Cosmos, an enormous globe that shows what is going on on Earth, such as the weather. A popular, quirky museum is the Unko Museum, that is the Poop Museum.

Odaiba is definitely worth a visit.

フジテレビの本社と球体展望室

2年間日本語を勉強している。日本語を練習するためにこの投稿を書いている。

東京の好きな場所を紹介する。場所はお台場だ。

お台場は人口島だ。お台場については言いたいことがたくさんある。

でもまずどうやってお台場へ行くか。

もちろん電車に乗ることができる。りんかい線は東京テレポート駅に到着する。ゆりかもめにも乗れる。ゆりかもめは自動運転電車だ。また、歩いて。レインボーブリッジを渡れば、お台場に着く。天気がよければ、東京の美しい景色が眺められる。晴れた日であれば、散歩は本当に楽しい。

橋を渡ると右手に台場公園がある。ここはお台場で最も古い所だ。お台場は江戸を守るために建設された。台場の意味は砲台だ。戦士の集まる場所だ。

しかし、今お台場は楽しい場所だ。

ガンダムユニコーン

例えばアニメにきょうみがあるなら、ガンダムユニコーンを見えたり、The Gundam Base Tokyoで買い物したり、ノイタミナSHOP & カフェシアターに行ったりすることができる。最近、サイコパスが宣伝されている。ノイタミナはフジテレビのアニメーションスタジオだ。フジテレビに関しては本社がお台場にある。 建物の屋上に球体展望室がある。ここから臨海と東京湾が見える。

お台場には面白い美術館もある。日本科学未来館 (Miraikan) が好きだ。一番好きな展示がジオ・コスモスだ。地球の天気を表示している。
